I used to think ignorance was bliss

Now I know it’s pathetic

It’s better to take a swing and miss

Than sign up with the apathetic

The truth will hunt you down

It’s better to face it

Better yet, to live it, to create it

Insecurity brushed over with ego and bravado

Like makeup on a scar

Chuck another mask on the mask

Protect me from being seen

Protect me from what I want

They say the truth is like a lion

It needs no defending

It will hunt you down

Best not be pretending

Energy is truth, it can not be faked

Pretend as you will

You will get found out

By yourself

The intention is the key

If you seek a life of ‘karm’

The ignition, let us see

First let’s do no harm

Today’s the day I seek it all

I want to know what’s real

A choice for me to live so raw

Another chance for me to feel

Ignorance is put to death

As bliss bleeds from the truth

A solid hit is now required

A real smile needs no tooth

Give me a match, let’s light it up

A time to release the fervid

Hot-blooded passion, fire on fire on fire
