There is no need to defend
They say the truth is like the sun
You can shut it out but it will not go away
You could see through to your neighbour’s house
In a time of so many lies, Lies, LIES
It becomes increasingly easy to see the truth
To feel the truth, hear our truth, hopefully live your truth
Perhaps we should
It strips away the weakness
Fear is felt by all in its path
Down the corridor painted with shame and greed
Fear is used as a shield to protect
But that shield quickly flips like Judas of old
To devour the weakness hiding beneath
Truth is breath, Truth is ease, Truth is life
The truth shall set us free.
